Welcome. Thank you for subscribing to Flavor Buffet and my tiny corner of the big, enormous internet. I write about this, that, and everything else. Much like a buffet, there is a lot of variety around here. Topics will range from gluten free food, living with celiac disease, my passion for fashion, personal anecdotes, sneaker recommendations, my favorite snacks, and more.

Hello!
If you’re new around here, or even if you’re not, I hope you noticed the update! What was once “A Friday Buffet,” has now emerged as Flavor Buffet. And if you’re someone who kept up with the blog (www.glutenfreemollied.com), then this title should be very familiar!
Flavor Buffet was one of the most popular sections of my website. It was a weekly post featuring articles, recipes, restaurants, and some shopping; A buffet of information, if you will. I am someone who loves variety in any area of life where fun is involved. I love options! Why do you think I have so many shoes? Some of my favorite meals in restaurants are ones that have multiple courses or endless numbers of small plates. I can barely decide when there are three different scone options presented - I want to try them all.
There are times in life when variety isn’t helpful and less is more. This newsletter is not that place. Each week I’ll share a handful of recommendations on varying topics and a moment to reflect on any recent life events swirling around.
After hemming and hawing away on how best to present this letter to you, my joyful readers, I decided it was best to go back to my (writing) roots and tell you what I know. I know food. I know fashion. And I know where to tell you to go for dinner. So let’s get to it! Thank you for being here. :)
Personally, I find it a bit serendipitous that today’s newsletter is number 44, my lucky/favorite number, so I feel even more strongly about my decision for the title change and slight re-work of this material.
Moving right along, you’re probably here for the recommendations so…onward!
Our backyard garden was a Dahlia Spectacular this season thanks to purchasing tubers at Five Fork Farms during their January sale.
If a piece of clothing is chic enough for Taylor Swift, then it’s definitely chic enough for me. I ordered this Vince Houndstooth long coat she has worn out and about and will report back. She’s far taller than me (and most of us) so here’s hoping it works!
A self-proclaimed sneaker collector, especially since I wear them daily, I’m loving this New Balance 530 (gold and navy!) pair. They have been super comfy for our frequent walks with Pepper.
We routinely visit Twist Bakery Cafe because the food is great, it’s entirely gluten free (and allergen-friendly), and overall absurdly convenient. However, I tend to visit even more during the colder months - don’t miss out on their pumpkin and ginger scone as well as the cinnamon chocolate chunk scone. Perfect with a hot latte!
Without a doubt, I will always recommend going to The Bancroft for their wonderful atmosphere, great staff, and excellent food. The GF menu does not disappoint and I will always order their GF fries with a side of truffle aioli. Yum!

A recent discovery at the grocery store? Lotus Foods Organic Millet and Brown Rice Ramen Noodles! They cook in four minutes and are the perfect weeknight noodle for stir-fries, soups, and more.
I have my eye on this black leather foldover clutch from Clare V. I love that a shoulder strap can be added so that it’s an entirely different style of bag.
One of my favorite fall sweaters is the cotton Button-Back Crewneck Sweater from Alex Mill. It can be worn with the buttons in the front or back so it’s basically two sweaters in one. ;)
Looking for new socks? Always on the lookout for a great pair myself, I recommend Feetures Ultra Light No Show Tab. I wear them with all of my sneakers and even during Peloton rides. They are great.
I read my horoscope on a fairly regular basis regardless of whether I plan to believe it. Here’s this week’s scoop if you’re so inclined.
Cheers and joy,
Mollie
