It is a gloriously beautiful Friday morning here and while I had briefly considered taking today “off,” I knew I couldn’t skip out on informing you all of some very exciting, joyful news: I am a brand-new, first-time, real-deal…Aunt! Woohoo!!
I have a niece!!! She is tiny and beautiful, and cute, and amazing, and OMG I cannot wait to meet her in person. I don’t have any other details right now, but I couldn’t keep this excitement from all of you for any longer. I am so thrilled (and honored) to have this new title, I am so incredibly proud of my sister, and I am overwhelmed with the thought of how much fun is to come. I know infants aren’t the best at shoe shopping, but I’ll teach her in no time. Her collection has already begun. ;)
The spring is often a time for “new” and I cannot think of a better way to usher in the new season than with this awesome addition to the world. Again, I am so freaking excited to be an Aunt and I just can’t wait to meet her!
Due to all of the joy of this week (welcoming our niece wasn’t even the only awesomeness to happen), our routine was far-from-traditional so I don’t have much else to discuss. We barely cooked, my workout routine was a lot of walking, and much of my time (besides work) was spent trying to see her cuteness on FaceTime. ;)
Thank you so much for being here and sharing in my excitement! I will keep you updated as soon as I meet her and can spread the joy and love. :)

I really want to see the new movie, Air. Have you seen it yet?
Must bake these Cheddar-Frico Biscuits immediately.
Now that my sister is officially in The Mom Club, I should probably get thinking on Mother’s Day ideas extra-early.
“You’re Doing a Great Job.” We all need to hear it. :)
